We were honoured to be invited to present our first seminar to a packed house in Japan. Bob Deering introduced BDM and spoke on hot topics including OW Bunkers and insolvency. Nick Burgess covered other relevant topics such the Ocean Victory and scrapping ships.
Those in attendance included all the leading Japanese shipping lawyers, heads of the hull claims sections at the big three insurers, leading P&I Clubs and numerous ship owners and operators. We were humbled by the overwhelming support for BDM from the Japanese shipping community. Our latest successful visit demonstrates that BDM is an ever growing presence in Japan and our increasingly frequent visits demonstrate our full commitment to the region.
