Some clients are taking advantage of much improved pricing to reduce their exposure particularly in the container and bulk sectors. At the same time, some buyers see opportunity as they brace for a perceived post pandemic boom.

Some recent deals that we’ve been involved in have not been entirely straightforward, particularly those deals that involved deliveries in the midst of the Covid pandemic. Travel restrictions are still causing headaches for ship owners who need to move crews around the world.
