Buying and Selling Ships

Buying and Selling Ships | BDM Blog | BDM Law

Due to recent market movements, we’ve seen an increase in sale and purchase instructions. At the same time, some buyers see opportunity as they brace for a perceived post pandemic boom.

With that in mind, we thought we’d remind our followers of one of our most popular blogs “How to buy a ship” which can be accessed here.

Some recent deals that we’ve been involved in have not been entirely straightforward, particularly those deals that involved deliveries in the midst of the Covid pandemic. Travel restrictions are still causing headaches for ship owners who need to move crews around the world.
