Idil is a dual-qualified lawyer admitted in England and Turkey. She has extensive experience across all aspects of insurance, general average, salvage, charterparties and a wide range of maritime claims. In addition to her litigation experience, she is also well versed in transactional matters including ship finance and leasing.
Idil holds an LLM from Swansea University and an LLB from the Bilkent University Faculty of Law. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Many of her articles have been published in industry forums.
